Hey there, ambitious Felicity Seekers! If you’re feeling stuck in a loop of mediocrity and your efforts seem to be leading nowhere, it’s time for a reality check. We all have big dreams, but sometimes the hustle doesn’t match the vision. Whether you’re aiming for that promotion, launching a side hustle, or pursuing a personal goal, it’s easy to get lost in the daily grind. In this post, we’re diving into the signs that might indicate you’re not fully committed to your goals. Let’s shake off that average mindset and start taking our aspirations seriously!

1. You haven’t done your research

Most successful people are almost obsessive about their field of work. If there is a book to read on the topic, they will read it. They dive incredibly deep into the research to become the most knowledgeable person in their field.

An obsession to this extent isn’t necessarily needed to succeed, but if you are taking your goals seriously, you will automatically decide to go on a research binge.

If you have yet to get started on any proper research, it is a sign you are not taking your goal seriously.

2. You have no next step planned

There are so many things you can do in pursuit of any goal. Whether or not those steps are the most effective or even needed is a different question altogether. However, if you are taking your goals seriously, you always have the next action step in mind. There is never this cluelessness about what to do next. Quite the opposite, most of the time, high achievershave too many things they would like to do and too little time to do them.

3. You barely think about your goal

How often do you think about your goal? Twice a year, when setting New Year’s Resolutions and remembering they existed? Once a month or once a week? If you are actually serious about your goal, you would think about it pretty much daily. You would find yourself visualizing its completion and strategizing the next steps during any free moment in your day. There would be no sudden realization that there was this one goal you had planned to achieve but forgotten about. If you are serious about your goal, it is on your mind constantly.

4. You know what would make a big impact, but don’t pursue it

It can be hard to pinpoint the single most effective task for us to do next. But once you have found the one action that would move the needle the most, anyone who is committed to their goal would dive headfirst into that task even though it might be scary and outside their comfort zone. If you allow your excuses to keep you from pursuing this action step, then you are not really serious about your goal. You are simply hoping and dreaming that it will come to fruition, but you are not giving it your all.

So there you have it! It’s time to reflect on where you stand with your goals. Are you diving deep into research, planning your next steps, and keeping your dreams at the forefront of your mind? If not, now is the moment to reignite your passion and commitment. Remember, you’re not just dreaming; you’re a force to be reckoned with! Embrace the challenges and take the leap toward the life you envision. Here’s to breaking free from the ordinary and stepping boldly into your extraordinary future! Stay fierce, and keep pushing forward!
