1. Move your body daily
It really doesn’t matter so much what you do as it does that you do something.
Moving your body is not only important for your health; it also improves your performance and mental wellbeing.
You can move your body by:
- Doing workouts (at home or at the gym)
- Going running
- Taking a medium-long walk (with your dog)
- Going to a dance class
- Going to a wall-climbing class
- Taking the bicycle instead of your car
- Getting out of public transportation a few stops earlier and walking the rest of the distance
- Getting a treadmill desk and walking while working
2. Wake up and go to sleep at the same time every day
There is all this hype around waking up early. While I am the ultimate morning person myself, I think it is more important to have a consistent sleep schedule.
You can wake up a 9 am as long as you make sure to do so every day after 7-9h of sleep and as long as you compensate by working later into the night.
Being consistent will make it much easier for you to wake up in the morning, and you will be more well-rested.
Don’t sleep in on the weekends. Your body doesn’t understand why those two days should have a different routine. It will only make it harder to wake up normally on Monday again.

3. Live an aesthetic life and take pictures of it, but don’t do it just for the photos
One of the reasons so many girls are unhappy when pursuing this ideal TikTok lifestyle is that they only do it for appearances sake.
Instead, they should do it because of how it feels.
So the next time you make yourself an aesthetic meal, don’t take a picture of it. Or take only one shot, do it quickly without much positioning, and put your phone away immediately.
Stop doing things solely to take Instagram-worthy pictures.
Doing that once in a while is fine and fun. But adjusting your days to create picture-perfect moments will make a pretty but unfulfilling shell of a life.
‘How to be THAT girl‘ content is just that – content that’s supposed to motivate you into BEING that girl and not just LOOKING like that girl.

A girl who has her life together knows that the way she experiences life largely depends on her mindset.

A quick thank you in her mind, and a small smile on her lips is enough to make her feel more blessed than before.

The thing is, while gratitude and affirmations might be cringy, dealing with your trauma and lack of self-confidence is downright uncomfortable – but oh so important, as girls who have their life together know.
No amount of gratitude or affirmation will ever be able to equal out the damage that suppressed regret, guilt, anger, and fear create.

That might come in the form of talking to a therapist or coach.

5. Don’t be just aimlessly busy but productive
The hustle hype has created a kind of societal approvement and personal pride around being busy. People wear it like a badge of honor if they studied for 12 hours a day.
Being THAT girl means prioritizing productivity over busyness. It means working smart, not unnecessarily hard so that you can have a lot of free time.

6. Never stop tweaking and improving your life
