It’s time for autumn, finally! And I have quite a few things on my autumn bucket list I intend to tick off in the following weeks.
I hope this autumn bucket list gives you some inspiration for your plans during this gorgeous season.
Let’s dive right into it!

I don’t know about you, but I adore a pretty skirt, tights and boots outfit.
Finally, in Fall time I can wear those warmer clothes again.
And don’t even get me started on leather jackets! How I miss those during summer!
Overall, Fall gives us the opportunity to wear some gorgeously stylish outfits again!
For whatever annoying reason, society has decided not to sell season-appropriate clothes during the actual season.
Instead, we always have to do pre-season shopping.
I always used to forget that and then struggle to find clothes.
Now that I care more about fashion and my style, I am determined to prepare myself.
That’s why autumn calls for winter clothes shopping!
You should be prepared as well!
I am talking Halloween Town (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), Harry Potter, Dead Poets Society, Harry Met Sally, The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina (series), Gilmore Girls, Friends … yeah ^^
Just google for some Fall movies to discover some new ones or rewatch some of your old favorites.
A few years ago, I created a fall mood playlist, and it’s just great to listen to it again each autumn.
You can check it out in ?? Cozy Songs for your Fall Playlist.
Also, I create a playlist for each season with all of the songs I’ve been listening on repeat during that time.
It’s always quite interesting to look back to past years and what songs I listened to in Winter, Spring, and so on.
I know it might seem pretty early, but I just love that feeling of not having to rush in those last two weeks before Christmas to get remaining presents.
So let’s just start early!
Also because Black Friday in November is just the perfect time to get cheap presents! But you need to be prepared, or you won’t know what to get your loved ones.

I want to start a bullet journal finally!
I even got myself the most amazing stickers from SheIn for that.
Seriously, if you do any DIY or bullet journaling, you HAVE TO check out their home stuff.
So cheap and sooooo pretty!
During Fall, the evenings finally get darker and colder again. This is the perfect time to restart that cozy evening atmosphere that many of us have during the winter months.
Just turn off the lights, turn on some fairy lights and light some autumn-ish scented candles … maybe pumpkin scented.
Frankly, I regularly forget Halloween is happing on the same freaking day every October …
But fortunately, I am not very excited about dressing up, so it doesn’t matter so much.
But I know tons of people adore Halloween. If this is you, try to start early with your costume preparations to not get too stressed, especially during times like with COVID-19 when shipping might be delayed.
But in those times, you should stay safe and don’t go to big Halloween parties!
Alright, so I know carving pumpkins or going to pumpkin patches are on every good Fall to-do list. But frankly, the first one is quite messy, and I have no idea where the next pumpkin patch is around here.
That’s why I’m perfectly content with simply eating some meals with pumpkin in them.
I always feel like Fall and Spring are perfect times for poetry.
You can use this beautiful season to embark into the unknown and buy yourself a pretty book full of poems.
I bought my first books with poems this Spring. It’s “Love Her Wild” from Atticus. You might have seen some of his poems on Instagram or Pinterest.
If you don’t want to buy a book, then you can use those two platforms to read one or two short poems a day.
Fall is the perfect season to get into the dark academia vibes. You can do that by browsing through Pinterest and Tumblr for that keyword, or you can buy some dark academia literature.
For example, I want to read “The Secret History” by Donna Tartt, a dark academia classic.
I hope this list gave you some new ideas on what to add to your Autumn Bucket List.
I wish you the most wonderful Fall season. Enjoy it!
