What is a morning routine?

A morning routine is a set of habits or activities that you do every day as soon as you wake up. It can help you prepare for the day ahead, boost your mood and energy, and set your priorities and goals. According to research, having a consistent morning routine can also improve your mental and physical health, enhance your creativity and productivity, and reduce stress and anxiety.

Successful people and their morning routine

Jennifer Aniston: According to Well+Good, she wakes up between 4:30 and 5 a.m. on workdays, drinks a glass of water with lemon, and does very simplistic face care. By then, 8:30 a.m. rolls around, which means meditation for 10-20 minutes. At about 9 a.m., she has breakfast which consists of a healthy protein smoothie. Afterward she heads to the gym to do spin-yoga, followed by either cardio or strength training.

Mark Zuckerberg: He is one of the late risers among the successful people as he wakes up at 8 a.m. Then he does what personal development coaches usually advise against and checks Facebook and WhatsApp immediately. After catching up with the online world, he exercises on some days of the week. What he eats for breakfast is a spontaneous decision. Lastly, Mark Zuckerberg is famous for choosing to wear the same t-shirt every day to reduce the number of unimportant choices he has to make every day.

Taylor Swift: She wakes up at 7 a.m. to make herself a cup of tea and toast. After showing her cats some well-deserved appreciation, she makes sure to hit the gym. After that, she gets herself ready and goes to work.

Khloé Kardashian: She gets up at 5 a.m., brushes her teeth, and quickly washes her face before she heads to the most important part of her morning: the workout.

Her breakfast consists of coffee only.

Zendaya: She is not a morning person, and it shows with her waking up at 8:00 a.m. and staying in bed for at least a few minutes, if not much longer.
